Within a few months of its launch, Janet took over as Administrator and has been publishing it weekly for the past 11 years. Under her leadership, the newsletter expanded its reach to over 500 subscribers and added a ‘Community News and Events’ section, serving not only Homenetmen members but also the broader SF Bay Area Armenian community. Janet’s dedication to Homenetmen was inspired by her mother’s love for the organization from a young age as a girl scout in Aleppo, Syria. Janet, her husband and two daughters continue the family tradition and are committed to do their part so that their beloved Homenetmen not only survives well into the future but also thrives.
